DoubleStick™ is pure EternaBond® advanced MicroSealant® with a removable release liner on each side. DoubleStick™ creates a tight, permanent, waterproof seal. Its flexibility to -57°C (-70°F) protects the seal from thermal shock.

Basic Use
DoubleStick™ tape is a self-sealing sealant tape used to create a permanent, weather proof, conformable seal between two or more surfaces. It can be used as a gasket or rolled into a bead or ball of MicroSealant® and used as a putty.

Composition
DoubleStick™ utilizes the EternaBond® advanced MicroSealant® Technology, a 100% solids formulation of synthetic resins, thermoplastics and non-curing rubber with a built-in primer. The adhesive is protected by a release liner, to be removed prior to application.

Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean and dry. Moisture, dust, dirt or other foreign matter should be removed. Remove oil and grease, etc. with EternaClean® or a non-residue cleaner such as acetone or lacquer thinner. Remove salt and other contaminants.

Application

As a Tape:
1. Gradually remove the first release liner and place the tape over the repair area, avoiding contamination of the adhesive.
2. Apply firm pressure with your hand or a steel roller to activate the bond.
3. Remove the second release liner and position the second substrate.
4. Apply pressure to ensure full contact and a proper seal.

As a Putty:
1. Remove both release liners
2. Form the material into a rope
3. Press it into the gap to create a seal.

Application Temperature* 4°C to 65°C ambient (40°F to 150°F)
Service Temperature -40°C to 100°C (-40°F to 212°F)
